Our portfolio
Four assets, built around one cornerstone.
Altamira’s operations are anchored by the Cobre Verde mine in Sonora, a long-life, low-cost open pit that produces the bulk of our copper. Around it sits a pipeline that spans the full mine lifecycle: an expansion in construction, a development project in Chile, and an exploration prospect on our home ground.
Concentrating our assets in two of the Americas’ premier copper districts lets us share people, infrastructure and know-how, and grow production without straying from what we do well.
